Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC in India seeks an experienced SAP specialist to configure, support, and enhance PP, QM, and PM modules within SAP S/4HANA. You will drive integration with MM, EWM/WM, QA, and other areas to meet manufacturing needs.

Lead SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and optimizations while delivering fit-to-standard solutions. You will prepare functional specs, work with ABAP, Fiori, and BASIS teams, and ensure data integrity and GxP compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on SAP experience in PP, QM, PM, or a strong combination.
• Experience in two areas with working knowledge of the third.
• Experience in service/consulting/captive IT or product/manufacturing company.
• Good understanding of manufacturing and quality business processes.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA; S/4HANA implementation experience preferred.
• Experience participating in at least one implementation, rollout, upgrade, or major transformation project.
• Ability to independently analyze incidents, requirements, and business-process issues.
• Experience preparing functional specifications and working with technical development teams.
• Good understanding of SAP Fiori applications relevant to PP, QM, and PM is preferred.
• Exposure to SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Jira, ServiceNow or similar tools is advantageous.
• Pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical device, chemical, food, or other regulated-industry experience strongly preferred.
• Exposure to GxP, CSV, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, data integrity, and regulated-system controls preferred.
• Any recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree; no specific educational specialization.
• Relevant SAP PP, QM, PM, or S/4HANA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Additional certifications or training in pharmaceutical GxP, CSV, quality systems, project delivery, or IT service management will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Configure, support, and enhance SAP PP processes including: MRP, demand management, production orders, and BOM management.
• Support discrete and process manufacturing scenarios and translate requirements into SAP solutions.
• Ensure integration between SAP PP and MM, EWM/WM, QM, PM, FI/CO, and other modules.
• Analyze production planning issues and provide sustainable solutions with minimal customization.
• Configure, support, and enhance SAP QM processes including quality planning, inspection plans, and quality notifications.
• Support quality processes for incoming materials, in-process manufacturing, and finished products.
• Ensure SAP QM/PP integration meets GxP and data integrity expectations with QA/CSV alignment.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, and support projects.
• Prepare and review business requirements, functional specs, configuration docs, test scripts, and cutover plans.
• Coordinate with ABAP, Fiori, Integration, Basis, Security/GRC, BTP, and other technical teams.
• Support interfaces between SAP and manufacturing, laboratory, maintenance, MES, LIMS, third-party systems.
• Engage in data migration, master-data validation, cutover, hypercare, and stabilization activities.

• SAP Implementation & Application Support

• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, and support projects.
• Perform hands-on SAP configuration and functional troubleshooting for assigned modules.

• Required Experience & Skills
