Job summary

Qualifications

• Support audit trail, electronic record, approval, and controlled transaction requirements where applicable.

• Configure, support, and enhance SAP Plant Maintenance processes including:

• Support equipment history, maintenance documentation, spare parts consumption, and maintenance cost tracking.
• Work with Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, QA, and Calibration teams to ensure appropriate system controls.
• Ensure maintenance processes integrate effectively with MM, FI/CO, PP, QM, procurement, inventory, and other relevant areas.

SAP Implementation & Application Support

• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, and support projects.
• Perform hands-on SAP configuration and functional troubleshooting for assigned modules.

• Work with ABAP, Fiori, Integration, Basis, Security/GRC, BTP, and other technical teams.
• Support interfaces between SAP and manufacturing, laboratory, maintenance, weighing, MES, LIMS, third-party, or other enterprise systems as applicable.
• Participate in data migration, master-data validation, cutover, hypercare, and stabilization activities.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 8+ years of hands‑on SAP experience in SAP PP, QM, PM, or a strong combination of these modules.
• Strong hands‑on configuration and functional support experience in at least two areas, with working knowledge of the third.
• Experience working in a service company, consulting organization, captive IT organization, or product/manufacturing company.
• Good understanding of manufacturing and quality business processes.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA; S/4HANA implementation experience preferred.
• Experience participating in at least one implementation, rollout, upgrade, or major transformation project preferred.
• Ability to independently analyze incidents, requirements, and business‑process issues.
• Experience preparing functional specifications and working with technical development teams.
• Good understanding of SAP Fiori applications relevant to PP, QM, and PM is preferred.
• Exposure to SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools is advantageous.
• Pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical device, chemical, food, or other regulated‑industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Exposure to GxP, CSV, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, data integrity, and regulated‑system controls is preferred.

Qualifications

• Any recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree; no specific educational specialization is mandatory.
• Relevant SAP PP, QM, PM, or S/4HANA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Additional certifications or training in pharmaceutical GxP, CSV, quality systems, project delivery, or IT service management will be an advantage.
