Job summary

Cornerstone OnDemand in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Manager QA & DevOps to establish an offshore QA/DevOps function, drive shift-left testing, build CI/CD pipelines, and lead a team of QA engineers and DevOps practitioners.

You will collaborate with US domain leads and define career paths while embedding QA into sprint ceremonies and governance processes. Strong Salesforce/DevOps experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of combined QA and DevOps experience in enterprise SaaS or large-scale IT environments.
• 5+ years of people management experience, including offshore team build-out.
• Hands-on Salesforce QA and/or DevOps experience: Provar, Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT, or equivalent.
• Proven CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Strong command of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Service Cloud, MuleSoft, and Oracle Fusion.
• Excellent communication skills able to present QA/DevOps roadmaps and metrics to CIO level audience

Responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, and lead a team of 6–10 QA engineers and DevOps practitioners in Hyderabad and remote.
• Define role ladders, career paths, and performance frameworks for the offshore QA/DevOps function.
• Operate as a player-coach: hands-on in tooling decisions while managing team delivery and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate daily with US-based domain leads (GTM, Finance/Oracle, ITSM, Integrations)

CORNERSTONE ONDEMAND Senior Manager QA & DevOps Enterprise Applications | Hyderabad, India | Full-Time

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are building a world-class QA and DevOps capability within Enterprise Applications. As Senior Manager QA & DevOps, you will be the founding offshore leader for this function, reporting to the VP of Enterprise Applications based in the US. You will establish shift-left testing practices, build CI/CD pipelines, and lead a team of QA engineers and DevOps practitioners supporting our GTM, Finance, Internal AI systems, and HR technology platforms including Salesforce (CRM/CPQ/Agentforce/Services/PRM), Oracle Fusion, Internal AI tools/systems, MuleSoft, and Snowflake

In this role you will...

QA Strategy & Shift-Left Testing

• Design and own the enterprise QA strategy across Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, Internal AI systems, MuleSoft, and Snowflake platforms.
• Champion shift-left testing: embed QA into sprint ceremonies, story refinement, and acceptance criteria definition.
• Build automated regression, smoke, and integration test suites targeting 7080% automation coverage within 12 months.
• Define and track QA KPIs: defect escape rate, test cycle time, automation coverage %, and PO testing effort reduction.
• Establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) for QA tooling (Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or equivalent).

DevOps & CI/CD Pipeline Engineering

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce (Gearset/Copado/AutoRABIT), MuleSoft, and custom integrations.
• Govern environment management, sandbox strategy, and release orchestration across Dev UAT Staging Production.
• Own DORA metrics (deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR, change failure rate) and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead Bitbucket/GitHub branch strategy, PR governance, and automated code quality gates.
• Partner with Platform and Architecture leads to embed DevSecOps controls, including data masking for sandboxes.

Team Leadership & Offshore Build-Out

• Hire, onboard, and lead a team of 610 QA engineers and DevOps practitioners in Hyderabad and remote.
• Define role ladders, career paths, and performance frameworks for the offshore QA/DevOps function.
• Operate as a player-coach: hands-on in tooling decisions while managing team delivery and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate daily with US-based domain leads (GTM, Finance/Oracle, ITSM, Integrations)

AI-Powered QA

• Partner with the Agentforce and AI Governance team to develop test strategies for AI agent workflows.
• Evaluate and pilot AI-assisted test generation tools to accelerate coverage on new feature releases.
• Contribute to Claude Code / AWS Bedrock governance policy as it relates to sandbox controls and automated testing.
