Job summary

Lkss & Associates is seeking a senior finance professional to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls in Bengaluru, India. The role requires managing treasury operations and partnering with leadership on strategic financial planning.

You will lead a team, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and Ind AS while optimizing profitability and capital efficiency.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in financial reporting under IFRS, GAAP and Ind AS.
• Strong background in general ledger, payables/receivables and payroll processes.
• Proven ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasts with variance analysis.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working capital; manage treasury relations.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS, GAAP, and Ind AS. Oversee general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. Manage month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasting. Monitor financial performance against budgets and analyze variances. Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve business performance and profitability.

Internal Controls & Compliance Establish, implement, and maintain effective internal control systems. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and audit standards. Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements. Optimize cash utilization and maintain banking relationships. Manage financial risks related to debt, investments, and treasury operations.

Business Partnership & Strategic Support Support senior leadership with financial analysis, business planning, and strategic decision-making. Deliver actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Collaborate with various departments on cost control and performance improvement initiatives.

Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team. Drive process improvement and financial automation initiatives. Ensure continuous capability development and high performance within the team.
