Job summary

NewSpace Research and Technologies, Bengaluru, is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 6–10 years of post-qualification experience to manage payroll, banking relationships, invoicing, audits, and financial policies.

The role requires strong knowledge of Income tax, GST, IND AS and ERP NetSuite Oracle, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 6–10 years post-qualification experience.
• Knowledge of Income tax, GST is mandatory.
• Proficient in MS Office including advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of IND AS and ERP NetSuite Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processing and payroll-related activities.
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions; ensure compliance.
• Oversee revenue invoicing, receipts and communications.
• Coordinate statutory audits, IFC audits and due diligence.
• Develop and implement financial policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee statutory compliance reviews and filings.
• Manage accounts payable and drive process improvements.

We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.

1. Managing, Reviewing and processing payroll and all payroll related activities.

2. Managing, Coordinating and maintaining relationships with banks and Financials institutions and compliances with Bank.

3. Managing revenue Invoicing, receipts and communications.

4. Managing and Coordination with statutory audit, IFC audit and due diligence.

5. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

6. Reviewing and managing statutory compliances.

7. Managing and overseeing accounts payable, Process Improvement and supporting team.

Qualifications

Chartered accountant with post qualification experience of 6 to 10 years.

Knowledge Required

• Knowledge of Income tax, GST etc mandatory.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite including word, advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, IND AS.
• Knowledge of ERP NetSuite Oracle.
