Job description

Sales Executive – HVAC Products (Data Center Market) in the Mumbai/NCR region.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales opportunities for the Johnson Controls HVAC product range in the assigned region for DC vertical customer accounts.
• Achieve the allotted AOP / sales target assigned for the region.
• Provide accurate forecast for the month, quarter, and year.
• Manage and forecast the sales pipeline.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations that explain key technical aspects of JC products to prospective customers, consultants, PMC, channel partners and contractors.
• Negotiate offers and contract terms, including legal, finance, payment, and other terms, and seek appropriate approvals per the organization approval matrix.
• Think independently and critically, suggesting improvements that may lead to cost savings and improved profitability.
• Establish new and maintain existing relationships with end‑users, consultants, contractors, architects, etc.
• Research the industry/market for competitive intelligence on an ongoing basis to stay aware of upcoming changes or challenges.
• Analyze cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities, ensuring all company products and services are thoroughly presented.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience selling HVAC products.
• Experience handling customer accounts in the data center industry.
• Strong understanding of GTM strategies for HVAC products for data center customer accounts.
• Preferred knowledge of cooling plant and related accessories for data center sites.
• Strong market connection in the Mumbai/NCR region with leading HVAC consultants and contractors.
• Excellent techno‑commercial negotiation skills.
• Ability to interface with and influence other parts of the organization to position the business case for pursuits.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proactive and capable of flourishing with minimal guidance.
• Strong networking skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
