Job summary

McCormick & Company seeks a Senior Manager, Cyber Threat Exposure, to lead our global Exposure Management team from Gurgaon in a hybrid 50/50 setup. You will drive offensive security, attack surface management, and continuous validation to bolster our resilience and risk posture.

You will collaborate with security leadership and business partners across IT and operations, develop metrics, mentor a high‑performing team, and articulate risk reduction initiatives to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/InfoSec or equivalent experience.
• Security certifications such as CISM/GIAC/CISSP.
• At least 10 years in cybersecurity/IT.
• At least 3 years leading security teams.
• Experience with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of threat actor behavior and mitigations.
• Willingness to work on-call in 24x7 operations.
• Strong collaboration with business and tech leaders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a global Exposure Management team.
• Enhance organizational resilience through implementation of exposure management practices, including offensive security, attack surface management, and continuous validation.
• Strengthen Identification, Prioritization, and Remediation processes.
• Optimize global attack surface visibility across IT and OT through technology deployment, cross functional partnership, and process refinement.
• Partner with security leadership to drive remediation accountability and adherence to risk tolerance thresholds.

• Define and develop metrics to measure and socialize maturity and exposure posture with senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, related degree, or measurable knowledge from serving in industry/military/government unit.
• CISM, GIAC, CISSP or other relevant security professional certifications.
• Minimum 10 years’ professional experience working in cybersecurity or information technology.
• Minimum 3 years' experience leading operational cybersecurity teams.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams within a large organization.
• Strong working knowledge of threat actor tradecraft and mitigation approaches.
• Flexibility to work on-call within a 24x7 operational security capability.
• Proven ability to successfully collaborate with business and technology leaders and teams.
• Strong problem-identification and problem-solving ability.
