Job summary

McCormick & Company is seeking a Senior Manager of Cyber Threat Exposure in Gurgaon, India, in a Hybrid (50/50) setup. You will lead a global Exposure Management team, enhance risk reduction, and drive remediation across IT and OT while partnering with security leadership.

The role requires 10+ years in cybersecurity, leadership experience, and relevant certifications, with on-call availability and collaboration with senior business and tech leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, info security, related field or equivalent experience.
• CISM, GIAC, CISSP or equivalent security certifications required.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity/IT.
• 3+ years leading operational cybersecurity teams.
• Experience with cross-functional teams in large organizations.
• Knowledge of threat actor tradecraft and mitigation.
• On-call availability for 24x7 security operations.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technology leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a global Exposure Management team.
• Enhance resilience through exposure management, including offensive security and attack surface management.
• Strengthen identification, prioritization, and remediation processes.
• Optimize visibility of global attack surface across IT/OT via tech deployment and partnerships.
• Partner with security leadership to drive remediation accountability.
• Develop and retain a best-in-class cybersecurity team.
• Define metrics to measure maturity and exposure posture for leadership.
• Provide thought leadership to enterprise-wide risk reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a global Exposure Management team.
• Enhance organizational resilience through implementation of exposure management practices, including offensive security, attack surface management, and continuous validation.
• Strengthen Identification, Prioritization, and Remediation processes.
• Optimize global attack surface visibility across IT and OT through technology deployment, cross functional partnership, and process refinement.
• Partner with security leadership to drive remediation accountability and adherence to risk tolerance thresholds.
• Develop and retain a best-in‑class cybersecurity team.
• Define and develop metrics to measure and socialize maturity and exposure posture with senior leadership.
• Provide thought‑leadership to enterprise‑wide risk reduction initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, related degree, or measurable knowledge from serving in industry/military/government unit.
• CISM, GIAC, CISSP or other relevant security professional certifications.
• Minimum 10 years’ professional experience working in cybersecurity or information technology.
• Minimum 3 years' experience leading operational cybersecurity teams.
• Proven experience working with cross‑functional teams within a large organization.
• Strong working knowledge of threat actor tradecraft and mitigation approaches.
• Flexibility to work on‑call within a 24x7 operational security capability.
• Proven ability to successfully collaborate with business and technology leaders and teams.
• Strong problem‑identification and problem‑solving ability.
