Job description

ROLE

• Maintenance of compliance framework in line with Regulatory Requirements
• Ensuring compliance on an ongoing basis with various Regulatory Guidelines, Acts, etc.
• Introduce and sustain good practices relating to the Compliance framework
• Review policies, programs, products and business processes to ensure regulatory requirements are complied with
• Facilitate preventive measures for mitigating compliance risk resulting in material financial loss or loss to reputation
• Introduce a healthy compliance culture within the Company so that governing laws, rules, and regulations are effectively complied with
• Oversee, coordinate and monitor day-to-day compliance activities of the organization
• Ensure timely dissemination of regulatory guidelines with action points
• Keep senior management and stakeholders updated on new circulars and amendments to existing circulars
• Advise and assist on compliance aspects during new product launches or changes to existing product lines
• Resolve queries raised by internal stakeholders on compliance-related aspects in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with the company’s internal policies and procedures
• Test compliances as per the periodicity outlined in the Compliance Testing Plan
• Conduct and facilitate AML Committee meetings and ensure necessary reporting requirements
• Liaise with inspection teams and coordinate with stakeholders during regulatory inspections
• Assist teams in rectifying deficiencies and implementing regulator recommendations from inspections
• Attend to internal audit queries or requirements, define IFC, and ensure compliance with observations
• Develop training modules on compliance topics and conduct training sessions at appropriate forums

REQUIREMENTS

• CA, CS, or MBA in Finance
• 4–5 years of experience in a compliance function within an NBFC or bank
• Practical working knowledge of regulatory compliances in the NBFC/banking sector
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and controls
• Commitment and energy to work in a high‑growth, fast‑paced, dynamic organization
