Role Description

The Senior Manager Commercial Underwriting Property and Engineering will lead underwriting activities for commercial property and engineering risks, ensuring alignment with the firm’s technical standards and client expectations. This on-site role is based in Noida and involves assessing complex risks, reviewing proposals, and structuring underwriting solutions that reflect appropriate pricing, coverage terms, and risk appetite frameworks. The individual will collaborate closely with insurers, intermediaries, and corporate clients to support product design, program structuring, and portfolio management for property and engineering lines. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing technical documentation, evaluating exposure and loss history, contributing to automated underwriting models, and preparing clear recommendations and reports. The Senior Manager will also mentor junior team members, support business development initiatives, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, regulatory changes, and international best practices in commercial property and engineering underwriting.

Qualifications
