Responsibilities

• Drive business development and underwriting support for MNC brokers across Mumbai.
• Manage new facility placements and renewals to ensure portfolio growth.
• Develop and scale BRE-based pre-underwritten portfolios across Property, WC, Marine, and Employee Benefits (GHI & CPA).
• Drive SME affinity business through digital microsites, embedded insurance products, and partner ecosystem platforms.
• Promote adoption of commercial lines quoting and underwriting platforms, mobile applications, API integrations, self-service capabilities, and value-added services for business sourcing.
• Collaborate with internal underwriting, operations, and distribution teams to enhance service delivery and business performance.
• Monitor portfolio profitability, renewal retention, and growth metrics.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Drive business growth and underwriting support for MNC brokers and SME partners across Mumbai. The role focuses on portfolio development, facility management, commercial lines underwriting, and leveraging digital platforms, APIs, and embedded insurance solutions to enhance business acquisition, customer experience, and profitable growth across Property, Marine, WC, and Employee Benefits lines.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive business development and underwriting support for MNC brokers across the Mumbai region
• Manage new facility placements and renewals to ensure sustainable portfolio growth.
• Develop and scale BRE-based pre-underwritten portfolios across property, Workmen Compensation (WC), Marine, and Employee Benefits (GHI & CPA)
• Drive SME affinity business through digital microsites, embedded insurance products, and partner ecosystem platforms
• Promote adoption of commercial lines quoting and underwriting platforms, mobile applications, API integrations, self-service capabilities, and value-added services (VAS) for business sourcing
• Collaborate with internal underwriting, operations, and distribution teams to enhance service delivery and business performance
• Monitor portfolio profitability, renewal retention, and growth metrics

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering MBA from a reputed institute.
• 3-5 years of Insurance industry experience
• Minimum 2 years Of Commercial Lines / Employee Benefits Underwriting experience.
