Adani Enterprises Ltd. seeks a Senior Manager - Projects (Biomedical) to lead planning, equipment lists, procurement, and commissioning for hospital projects.
You will coordinate with doctors, architects, MEP consultants, and hospital planners to ensure space planning, equipment integration, and compliance with NABH/JCI standards. The role requires 12-18 years in Biomedical Engineering or healthcare infra, with at least 5 years leading biomedical projects in multi-specialty settings.
Lead biomedical planning activities for greenfield and brownfield hospital projects. Develop department-wise medical equipment plans based on clinical requirements and capacity plans. Collaborate with doctors, architects, MEP consultants, and hospital planners to ensure proper space planning and equipment integration. Review architectural, civil, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas drawings from a biomedical perspective. Ensure compliance with NABH, JCI, statutory, and healthcare design standards.
Prepare Medical Equipment Lists (MEL) and equipment specifications for all clinical departments. Evaluate new technologies and benchmark equipment requirements against leading healthcare institutions. Lead technical evaluation, vendor assessment, tendering, negotiations, and finalization of medical equipment procurement. Coordinate with stakeholders for budget preparation and project cost optimization. Manage procurement schedules in line with project timelines.
Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and validation of medical equipment. Ensure readiness of utilities such as electrical systems, HVAC, UPS, medical gas pipelines, and networking for equipment installation. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and project teams to achieve timely commissioning. Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve technical issues.
Ensure integration of medical equipment with HIS, EMR, PACS, RIS, LIS, and other hospital systems. Work closely with IT and digital teams for interoperability and data communication requirements. Support implementation of smart hospital and digital healthcare initiatives.
Manage relationships with OEMs, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders. Coordinate with clinical teams to understand operational requirements and technology needs. Conduct technical discussions, vendor reviews, and project progress meetings.
Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, biomedical standards, and safety norms. Validate equipment acceptance protocols and commissioning documentation. Support statutory audits, accreditation requirements, and quality initiatives. Establish SOPs and maintenance strategies for biomedical assets.
Participate in hospital operational readiness planning. Develop preventive maintenance plans and service contract strategies. Coordinate training programs for clinical and technical users before go-live.
