Bhumi seeks a Senior Manager to lead the BhumiFellowship, overseeing program design, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. You will drive leadership development for fellows and staff, mentor Program Managers, and build partnerships to strengthen the fellowship model across multiple Indian cities.

The role demands strong people management, curriculum understanding, and excellent English/Tamil communication. Reporting to the Associate Director; remuneration is competitive for the sector.

Formación

• Experience of managing people/projects
• Teaching/content creation experience desirable
• Experience leading STEM education initiatives, curriculum design, or teaching STEM
• Any Graduate or higher, fellowship experience acceptable

The BhumiFellowship is designed to bring in smart young people to transform the Indian schoolingsystem. Through this two-year journey, we aim to positively impact the lives ofone million children in the next decade.

Thisprofessional programme will develop the youth into change facilitators whoenable schools to function better as an eco-system. The fellows will be placedin government and other low-income schools. The fellows will focus onprofessional development of teachers, leadership development of school leadersand whole school transformation.

The person will manage the fellowship programme while being the nodal point to all stakeholders at the school, fellows, partners, donors and Bhumi.

Roles & Responsibilities of Senior Manager

• Design and lead the monitoring andevaluation of the program
• Design and lead the implementation of Leadership& Development (L&D) for the fellows and the staff team
• Mentor and coach (Assistant) ProgramManagers towards excellent fellow and stakeholder outcomes across two or morecities
• Build partnerships within and outsideBhumi to strengthen the fellowship model

PreferredEducation Qualification / Experience:

• Experience of managing people / projects
  
• Teaching and/or content creation experience is highly desirable
  
• Prior experience leading STEM (Science & Math) education initiatives, curriculum design, or teaching in STEM fields is required.
  
• Any Graduate, post-graduate or fellowship
• Experience in managing/designing a fellowship would be an advantage

• Clarityon the different curriculum being used in India
