Job summary

The Bhumi Fellowship is a learning and development journey for young change-makers committed to educational equity in the long term. In Chennai, 32 fellows work with over 5,500 children across 30+ schools, with plans to recruit 100 fellows in 2023 across two cities.

The Manager - Recruitment will oversee the full Fellowship selection process through partnerships to attract exceptional candidates. Primary responsibilities include developing a recruitment strategy, owning execution and targets,

Qualifications

• Develop recruitment and selection strategy for Bhumi Fellowship through collaborations.
• Own strategy execution and meet recruitment targets quarterly and annually.
• Collaborate with colleges, corporates, and institutions to strengthen partnerships.
• Manage and coach team members toward ambitious outcomes.
• Gather and analyse data to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Independentlyowning the strategy execution and achieving recruitment targets on a quarterlyand annual basis.

The program currently has 32 fellows in Chennai, working withover 5,500 children in over 30 schools. In 2023, we aim to recruit at least 100fellows in two cities.

The Manager - Recruitment, Bhumi Fellowshipwillmanage the execution of the entire Fellowship selection process(including recruitment and selections) through key partnerships for recruitingexceptional candidates for Bhumi Fellowship .

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Developingand executing Recruitment & Selection strategy to attract the best talent for the BhumiFellowship through internal and external collaborations/partnerships

Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:

• Atleast 2 years of experience inmanaging a team (Essential)
  
• 1 to 2 years ofSales/BD/promotional Experience in the education segment (mainly with colleges)
  
• Exceptionalcommunicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Willingto travel extensively
  
• Graduate/PostGraduate degree in any discipline
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Abilityto invest in stakeholders and build partnerships
  
• Goodwritten and verbal communication skills in English and Tamil.
  
• Dataanalysis and interpretation. Good command of MS Excel.
