Job summary

VVF is seeking a production management professional to oversee hydrogen gas plant operations and fatty alcohol lines, ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing of specialty products like Ewax, CTAC, and BTAC. You will set production schedules, monitor capacity utilisation, and drive improvements in reliability, costs, and process standards.

The role requires strong leadership, data analysis, forecasting skills, and the ability to collaborate across plants to share best practices and optimize

Responsibilities

• Deliver SNOP volumes and day-to-day operation of production of Hydrogen Gas plant and Fatty alcohol Pastillation/Flaker lines.
• Manufacture new specialty products like Ewax, CTAC, BTAC to meet business objectives safely.
• Develop production schedules for optimal capacity utilisation.
• Resolve production constraints to meet targets and manage budgets for plant supplies and machinery.
• Design and deploy plant production processes and policies aligned with global standards.
• Conduct downtime analysis and reliability improvements.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering SNOP volumes and day-to-day operation of production of Hydrogen Gas plant and Fatty alcohol Pastillation/Flaker lines
• Manufacturing of new specialty products like Ewax, CTAC, BTAC in order to deliver key business objectives efficiently and safely.
• Develop production schedules to ensure optimal capacity utilisation
• Ensure that production constraints are resolved in time to meet targets Develop budgets and approve expenditures for plant supplies, materials, machinery, human resources etc against different GL.
• Design and deploy plant specific production processes and policies, ensuring alignment with quality and process standards set globally
• Downtime Analysis/ Reliability improvement.
• Implementation of cost saving project , special processes and inventory control.
• Liaison with production managers of different plants to exchange ideas and share best practices
• Manage performance of the production personnel, support capability building and ensure that individual and individual/ team morale and motivation is positive
• To prepare MIS reports, monthly/quarterly & to analyze the plant performance so as to take th corrective action for optimizing the cost of productionn
• Work with Maintenance to oversee maintenance of plant facilities, machines and other infrastructure. Seek/ provide sanctions for setting up new and improved infrastructure/ technology
