Job summary

TraceGains, a Veralto company, is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own end-to-end ML/AI systems in the Food and Beverage domain from Bengaluru, India.

You will design datasets, evaluate metrics, monitor cost and performance, and collaborate with engineering, product, and sales teams to deliver customer-centric AI deliverables. Strong Python/C# production experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering, data engineering, AI/ML engineering, or related experience, with demonstrated ability to ship production-grade systems across the product lifecycle.
• Experience building production services, datapipelines and integrations in Python, with ideally additional experience in C#
• Production-grade experience with knowledge graphs, graph databases, semantic modeling, ontology concepts, or relationship-based data representations.

• Leading independent experimentation design and code design around ML systems.

• Working closely with AI product teams to understand how best to deliver a great customer experience in the design of our AI deliverables.

Reporting to theHead of Artificial Intelligence,theSenior Machine Learning Engineeris responsible for__developing and owningthe end-to-end lifecycle ofMachineLearning and AI systems in the Food and Beverage science domain. This positionwillbe located inIndia.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering, data engineering, AI/ML engineering, or related experience, withdemonstratedability to ship production-grade systems across the product lifecycle.

• Experience building production services, datapipelinesand integrationsinPython, with ideallyadditionalexperience as well in C#

• Production-grade experiencewith knowledge graphs, graph databases, semantic modeling, ontology concepts, or relationship-based data representations.

• Ability to design and interpret evaluation metrics for AI and ML systems, including model quality, retrieval quality, search relevance, classification performance, latency, cost, reliability, and user impact.

• 2+years experienceworking with Azure cloud platform (preferred), or AWS / GCP alternatively.
