About the Job – To Provide on Prem & AWS,Azure cloud-hosted Linux platform support for multiple applications in production and other environments. Liaise with IT Infrastructure teams and the application support team.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience Required - 10 years

Key Responsibilities

• 10 + years of hands-on IT experience within infrastructure operations which includes experience supporting Linux, AIX server environment, VMware, Nutanix, cloud infrastructure, networking, and storage.

• Provide day-to-day system administration support to assigned systems, new deployments of systems, test, and evaluation of hardware and maintain system documentation in AWS, Azure Cloud and Datacentre’s

• Provide subject matter knowledge and support during delivery of changes or managed incidents related Linux Operating system server enterprise environment.

• Participate in review and approval of documentation, including SOPs, support guides, and other technical documentation produced for the service area Generic Managerial Skills.

• Assist with regular reports of continuous improvement activities, benefits, and outcomes. Monitor the incident queue and participate in quality control and reprioritization of tickets.

• Subject matter expertise support during patching, maintenance, upgrades, and other related activities. Lead and support vendors in resolution and root cause of all major incidents in the Linux, AIX environment

• Ability to write scripts in PowerShell / Unix shells and/or scripting languages like Perl/Python Hands on experience on OS Deployment & Patching.

Knowledge on Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, subnetting, routing and DHCP etc.

• Responsible for setups of new Linux , server creation in VMWare, Nutanix, and AWS, Azure cloud.

• experience with AWS/Azure with knowledge of S3, EC2, IAM, Security, Lambda, Networking etc

• Knowledge in core Azure services like, Storage accounts, Auto-scaling, Virtual Networks, Recovery services etc

• Proven Linux servers and AWS/Azure Cloud Administration experience (10+ years)

• Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills

• Knowledge of security best practices and understanding of vulnerability assessments

• Python or PowerShell Scripting skills must be required.

Certifications: At least one of the following industry certifications:

• Virtualization certifications – Nutanix, VMware
