Job summary

IDEMIA Public Security is seeking a Core Infrastructure Engineer to join our production support team. You will be the single point of contact for customer queries, coordinate deployments on customer premises, and ensure robust Linux-based infrastructure across on‑premises environments.

Responsibilities include Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS), troubleshooting, patching, and monitoring with Satellite, VMware ESXi, and OVM.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Linux OS platforms (RHEL & CentOS) and troubleshooting.
• Linux filesystem, permissions, and ownership.
• Knowledge of boot process and Run levels; troubleshoot services.
• OS performance checks and troubleshooting.
• LVM/VG/PV management and troubleshooting.
• ACL management.
• Monthly support report generation and sharing with customer and HO team.
• Understanding of crontab and job scheduling.
• Multipath configuration and management.
• DNS, NFS and CIFS network file sharing; network troubleshooting (bonding, VLANs).
• Patching through Satellite & client-side yum configuration.
• Satellite server configuration & management.
• Knowledge of hardware architecture (HP, Dell servers).
• Management of Linux servers and hypervisors like OVM and VMware ESXi.

Responsibilities

• Single Point of contact for end customer or IDEMIA core team for all support related queries within support scope.
• Working on customer ITSM tool post resolution of support query from customer.
• Helping team for production deployment of new application/patches and leading application qualification from UAT to production deployment; participating in audits.
• Guiding deployment and monitoring teams and coordinating with different teams; part of DC/DR activity at customer premises.

Time: Morning/ Afternoon/ Night- Rotational Shifts

We are looking for a Core team member, you should be familiar with best practices of infrastructure (on premises) deployment for production grade environment and good to have Devops skills to automate application deployment/management for deployed environment and production monitoring team on customer premises. • 15. Knowledge of different hardware architecture (HP, Dell servers) and implementation
• 16. Management of Linux servers and hypervisors like OVM server, VMware ESXi

Responsibilities
