The role involves drafting and negotiating contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, training on legal issues, and advising on corporate matters across marketing, procurement, finance, HR and operations while maintaining governance and litigation MIS.

Qualifications

• Law degree and valid license to practice law in India.
• 10–14 years of post-qualification experience in Energy laws.
• Deep knowledge of solar sector regulatory compliance, litigations, intellectual property, contracts and energy laws.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements (EPC, Power Purchase, O&M, Infrastructure Sharing, Module Supply, Asset Purchase, Equipment Supply, Project Development, Joint Venture SHA, SPA, Acquisitions).
• Formulate, review and implement internal policies and SOPs in line with legal and regulatory developments.
• Conduct training and awareness programs on legal and compliance matters.
• Provide corporate advisory on marketing, procurement, finance, HR, operations and maintain Litigation MIS.
• Manage internal and statutory audit for litigations, compliance and ethical governance framework.
• Keep stakeholders updated on industry-specific laws, regulations and amendments.
