We are looking to hire an In-House Legal Counsel for Mumbai.

If you have expertise in one or more of the legal functions such as contract drafting, working on PPAs / EPC contracts / regulatory / land acquisition / project finance, then this is the role for you!

How you will contribute

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements (term sheets, PPAs with captive / group captive / bilateral consumers).
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements related to behind‑the‑meter or rooftop solar solutions.
• Representations, presentations and regulatory updates in internal and external forums based on knowledge of Electricity Act 2003, Electricity Rules 2005, Grid Code, tariff orders, CERC regulations, and renewable-energy regulations.
• Managing title due diligence for land acquisition for solar and wind plants across India.
• Authenticating property title documents.
• Briefing senior management on progress of land acquisition and title clearance, and suggesting future action.
• Acting as custodian of all legal and title documents.
• Proficient in Excel for preparing milestones and cash flows.

Ideal skills for this role

• Bachelor of Law with specialization in power – preferably from a reputed institute.
