Designation: Senior Executive – Compliance & Legal

Experience: 2–3 Years

Qualification: LLB / LLM / Graduate in Law

Salary Budget: ₹5.00 – ₹5.50 LPA

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Senior Executive – Compliance & Legal to support the organization in day-to-day legal and compliance activities. The role will involve monitoring regulatory requirements, maintaining statutory records, supporting legal documentation, coordinating with internal departments and assisting in ensuring timely compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing day-to-day legal and compliance activities of the organization.

Monitor and track applicable statutory, regulatory and corporate compliance requirements.

Maintain compliance calendars, registers, records and documentation.

Prepare, review and maintain legal agreements, notices, letters and other legal documents.

Coordinate with internal departments for collection of information and timely completion of compliance requirements.

Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, service agreements and other business documents.

Support in handling legal notices, correspondence and documentation.

Conduct basic legal research and keep updated with changes in applicable laws and regulations.

Assist in ensuring timely filing of statutory returns, forms and other regulatory submissions.

Coordinate with external legal consultants, advocates, government authorities and other stakeholders whenever required.

Maintain proper records of ongoing and closed legal matters.

Support senior management in preparing compliance reports, MIS and status updates.

Identify potential compliance gaps and assist in taking corrective actions.

Ensure confidentiality and proper maintenance of sensitive legal and corporate documents.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance.

Good knowledge of legal documentation and contract review.

Strong drafting, documentation and communication skills.

Good analytical and research abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.

Ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Profile

LLB / LLM qualification from a recognized university.

2–3 years of relevant experience in Legal, Compliance, Corporate Legal or similar functions.

Experience in a corporate / manufacturing / industrial organization will be preferred.

Candidates with practical exposure to statutory and regulatory compliance will be preferred.
