CRI Pumps, based in Tamil Nadu, invites a seasoned Law Officer Corporate Legal to provide strategic legal counsel across the organization, ensure regulatory compliance, and safeguard the company’s legal interests.

The role covers contract drafting and review, governance, risk assessment, and liaison with internal teams and external agencies. Fluency in English and Tamil is preferred.

Formación

• LL.B from a recognized university, mandatory.
• 3–8 years of experience in corporate legal practice, preferably in manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and documents including JV, M&A related.
• Ensure adherence to state, national, and international laws and regulations.
• Provide legal opinions, conduct risk assessments, and support governance and compliance initiatives.
• Manage Company, Labour, Civil, Contract, Criminal, and Environmental legal matters.
• Prepare and maintain statutory documentation for entities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for regulatory filings.
• Explain complex legal concepts in English and Tamil to stakeholders.

Job Title: Law Officer Corporate Legal

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Law Officer with strong expertise in corporate legal practice. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of multiple branches of law and the ability to provide strategic legal guidance, ensure compliance, and safeguard the organizations legal interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, including those related to Joint Ventures, Mergers & Acquisitions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to State, National, and International laws, policies, and regulations.
• Legal Advisory: Provide legal opinions, conduct risk assessments, and support governance and compliance initiatives.
• Corporate Legal Matters: Manage issues related to Company Law, Labour Law, Civil Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, and Environmental Law.
• Documentation: Prepare, review, and maintain statutory documentation for Companies, Establishments, Firms, and Institutions.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams and external agencies for legal procedures, audits, and regulatory filings.
• Communication: Explain complex legal concepts clearly in English and Tamil to diverse stakeholders.
