Job summary

National Paints is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its Legal Department in India. The candidate will handle DRT cases, CIBIL matters, revenue and land/property issues, and manage litigation across locations with travel as required.

Key requirements include LLB or LLM from a recognized university, 10–15 years of relevant experience, strong drafting and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with advocates and authorities. Relocation within India may be needed.

Qualifications

• Strong legal drafting, documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple legal matters and cases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ongoing cases, court/tribunal proceedings and ensure timely follow-up.
• Maintain proper records, case status and litigation reports.
• Provide legal advice to management on ongoing and potential legal matters.
• Handle legal matters across multiple locations and travel as required.

• Candidate should be willing to relocate anywhere in India as per business requirements.
• Bhopal-based candidates will be preferred.
• Willingness to travel across India whenever required.
