Trianz is seeking a Senior Lead - IT / Microsoft 365 Administrator in Hyderabad to manage and optimize enterprise Microsoft 365 services. This role covers Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, Entra ID, Defender, and Purview, combining hands-on admin work with security and compliance oversight.

The ideal candidate will lead service operations, maintain documentation, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure digital workplace services and smooth IT operations.

Role Summary:

The Senior Lead - IT / Microsoft 365 Administrator will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing enterprise Microsoft 365 services across Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Intune, Entra ID, Defender, and Purview. The role requires a strong blend of hands-on technical administration, security and compliance awareness, service operations, documentation discipline, and stakeholder coordination to ensure reliable, compliant, and secure digital workplace services.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT professional with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams administration, Intune endpoint management, identity and access administration, and security and compliance operations. The role requires managing enterprise collaboration services, Teams channels and policies, guest and external user access, secure endpoint compliance, mail flow and mailbox operations, and driving operational excellence across Microsoft 365 workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Microsoft 365 tenant administration across Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, Entra ID, licensing, service health, roles, and user lifecycle activities.
• Administer Exchange Online including mailbox management, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, mail flow rules, message trace, anti-spam/phishing controls, and email delivery troubleshooting.
• Administer Microsoft Teams including Teams policies, channels, meetings, messaging, apps, guest/external access, shared channels, and Enterprise Voice / Teams Phone support.
• Manage Intune and endpoint administration including device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment, endpoint security baselines, and device health reporting.
• Support Microsoft 365 security and compliance operations including Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Purview, DLP, sensitivity labels, retention, audit logs, eDiscovery, incident alerts, SOPs, and audit evidence.

Certification Requirements:

• Preferred Microsoft certifications: MS-102 / Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, MS-700 / Teams Administrator, MD-102 / Endpoint Administrator, SC-300 / Identity and Access Administrator.
• Added advantage: SC-400 / Information Protection and Compliance Administrator, SC-200 / Security Operations Analyst, AZ-104 or AZ-305 for Azure administration/architecture exposure.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-9 years of experience in IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 administration, cloud services, endpoint management, or enterprise IT operations.
• Strong working knowledge of Exchange Online administration, including mail flow, mailbox management, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, message tracing, and email security troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune administration, device compliance, configuration profiles, application deployment, Windows endpoint management, and endpoint security baselines.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams administration, including Teams policies, meeting and messaging settings, team/channel lifecycle management, private and shared channels, app governance, guest access, and external collaboration controls.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams Enterprise Voice concepts such as Phone System, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, calling policies, dial plans, number assignment, and call quality monitoring.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, identity governance, MFA, conditional access, least-privilege access, and role-based administration.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 security and compliance workloads, including Defender for Office 365, Purview DLP, sensitivity labels, audit logs, retention, and eDiscovery support.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Microsoft 365 service issues, coordinate with Microsoft support if required, and drive timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
• Managing Security risks through Defender for O365 and Defender for endpoints.
• Strong documentation, communication, stakeholder coordination, and team leadership skills.

Added Advantage:

• Experience with Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud Apps, and advanced threat investigation workflows.
• Exposure to Microsoft Purview advanced compliance features such as Insider Risk, Communication Compliance, Information Protection, retention, and advanced eDiscovery.
• Experience with Teams governance and Enterprise Voice / Teams Phone using Direct Routing, Operator Connect, Calling Plans, SBC, or contact-center integrations.

Knowledge of PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, audit readiness, ISO 27001/SOC 2/PCI, and Azure/AWS/GCP integration with Microsoft 365 security controls
