LSEG Data Platforms in Hyderabad is seeking a senior Software Engineer to build scalable services and world-class web experiences. You will work across the stack, collaborating with teams in Microsoft and LSEG to deliver full-stack applications using modern web technologies and cloud platforms.

You should have strong expertise in .NET/C#, React or Angular, TypeScript, and CI/CD, plus a collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor others in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with .NET and C# in high-scale production systems.

Data Platforms is an exciting collective of teams spanning product and engineering teams. LSEG Data Platforms provides a range of tools and solutions for managing, accessing, and distributing financial data. They offer various platforms, including the LSEG Data Platform, LSEG DataScope Select, and LSEG DataScope Warehouse. These platforms enable users to access both LSEG's own data and third‑party data, with options for real-time, delayed, and historical data delivery.

Responsibilities:

• As a Software Engineer in the team, deliver highly scalable services and world‑class product experiences.
• Work on multiple layers of the technology stack, ranging from customer-focused user experience work on cloud services, working with database/onelake, and everything in between.
• Collaborate with team members and other engineering groups in Microsoft and LSEG to build full stack web applications and services using the latest web technologies in a dynamic and agile environment.
• Close engagement with the architecture teams to ensure product capabilities are designed in line with the strategic end‑state architecture.

• Delivery of commitments within their portfolio including front to back dev work.
• Adoption of company agile practices within the team

• Coaching and mentoring Knowledge & Behaviours Technical/ job functional knowledge
• Web development experience needed.
• Experience with modern JS frameworks such as React or Angular
• Experience with Typescript
• Good understanding of SPA (single page application) architecture of the website
• 8+ years of experience in .NET framework and C# in a high‑scale production system is preferred.
• Development experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Understanding and experience with API development and integration is preferred.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code (including CI/CD pipelines for the code and services) Leadership & collaboration experience
• Experience in mentoring and provide technical leadership for web application development.
• Experience in design, coding, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
