Job summary

SyncSols seeks an experienced Senior LabVIEW Engineer to lead software for test and measurement systems across aerospace, defence, rail and research customers. You will translate customer requirements into scalable LabVIEW architectures, develop Real-Time and FPGA code for CompactRIO and PXI, and ensure maintainable, well-documented solutions.

You will work with hardware and panel engineers, review junior developers’ work, and represent the technical voice on customer calls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional LabVIEW development on delivered systems.
• Hands-on LabVIEW Real-Time and LabVIEW FPGA on CompactRIO or PXI.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and sensors.

Responsibilities

• Design LabVIEW application architectures (QMH, Actor Framework, or DQMH) from customer requirements.
• Develop LabVIEW RT/FPGA code for CompactRIO/PXI control and acquisition.
• Integrate instruments and buses (DAQmx, CAN, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429, MODBUS, OPC UA).
• Build TestStand sequences and operator interfaces for test sequencing.
• Write design docs, test procedures and user manuals; participate in reviews, FAT, SAT.
• Coordinate commissioning at customer sites in India and train operators.
• Review code and mentor junior engineers; contribute to reusable libraries.

That means turning a customer requirement into a clean LabVIEW architecture, writing real-time and FPGA code that runs deterministically on CompactRIO and PXI, and seeing it through factory and site acceptance.You will work alongside our hardware and panel engineers, review the work of junior developers, and be the technical voice on customer calls.
