Job summary

NexiBox Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Automation & Test Control Engineer to design, develop, and deploy LabVIEW-based data acquisition and automated test applications.

You will interface LabVIEW with sensors, DAQ hardware, actuators, PLCs, and third-party instruments, build modular VIs, and create intuitive GUIs for operators. Freelancers welcome; in-office Bengaluru role with full-time or contract options.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on LabVIEW development experience.
• Open to B.Tech/B.E, MCA, BCA or diploma holders in Electronics,Instrumentation, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Proficient with LabVIEW fundamentals (state machines, design patterns, event-driven programming, file I/O).
• Good understanding of RS-232/485, GPIB, TCP/IP, Modbus, USB or CAN bus protocols.
• Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) or Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) is a bonus; MATLAB/Python integration knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop clean, modular LabVIEW VIs and scalable application software architectures.
• Interface LabVIEW with sensors, DAQ hardware, actuators, PLCs, and third-party instruments.
• Build automated testing systems, test benches, and verification setups to streamline QA.
• Create intuitive front panels and GUIs for operators and technical teams.
• Troubleshoot software, diagnose hardware communication failures, and calibrate measurement setups.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactiveAutomation & Test Control Engineerto join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsiblefor designing, developing, and deploying custom data acquisition,instrument control, and automated test applications using LabVIEW.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development:Design and develop clean, modular virtual instruments (VIs) andscalable application software architectures using LabVIEW.
• Hardware Integration:Interface LabVIEW software with various sensors, data acquisitionhardware (DAQ), actuators, PLCs, and third-party industrial instruments.
• Testing & Automation:Build automated testing systems, test benches, and verificationsetups to streamline product quality assurance.
• UI/UX Design:Create intuitive, user-friendly front panels and graphical userinterfaces (GUIs) for operators and technical teams.
• Debugging & Calibration:Troubleshoot software glitches, diagnose hardware communicationfailures, and calibrate measurement setups for peak performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:1+ year of hands-on industrial or project experience designingand debugging applications in LabVIEW.
• Education:Open to B.Tech, B.E, MCA, BCA, or diploma holders in Electronics,Instrumentation, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Core Technical Skills:Proficient with LabVIEW fundamentals (state machines, designpatterns, event-driven programming, file I/O).
• Communication Protocols:Good understanding of standard communication protocols such asRS-232/485, GPIB, TCP/IP, Modbus, USB, or CAN bus.
• Preferred (Bonus):Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) or Certified LabVIEWDeveloper (CLD) credential, or basic knowledge of MATLAB/Python integration.
