Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to lead a QA team and expand automated coverage. You will mentor testers, collaborate with product and engineering, and drive end-to-end automation for UI and Web Service/API scenarios.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of professional Automation Testing experience centered on JavaScript.
• Strong proficiency in UI Automation tooling (Playwright, Mocha, Chai).
• Experience building Web Service and API test automation frameworks.
• Upper-intermediate English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor a tester team by setting direction and unblocking delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather and analyze system requirements.
• Develop end-to-end test plans, test cases and test strategies.
• Plan and prioritize testing activities to maximize coverage and efficiency.
• Build, enhance and run automation scripts using advanced automation tools.
• Log, track and validate defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Review QA metrics and trends to support continuous improvement.
