Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Pune, India, is seeking a Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to lead our testing efforts, design scalable automation, and mentor a team of testers across REST and SOAP services.

You will integrate automation with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), apply AI-powered techniques for generating tests and scripts, and ensure quality across software delivery in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software test automation and quality engineering.
• Proficient in API automation for REST and SOAP services including auth methods such as Basic, Bearer, OAuth, NTLM.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with AI-driven testing and LLMs such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor a team of testers during testing activities.
• Create detailed test plans, cases, and strategies.
• Build and run automation scripts using advanced tools and frameworks.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Develop AI-powered test case generation and script writing capabilities.
• Verify XML/JSON payloads and API-driven workflows.
• Track defects and ensure proper validation and resolution.
