Job summary

Shavish Group in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Engineer Java to lead product development and customization across web and mobile platforms. Immediate joiner and face-to-face interview on 29th August 2026, location Whitefield.

You will guide a team of Java developers, drive architecture, CI/CD, and AI/ML integration using frameworks like Spring Boot, Quarkus, and modern data stores. Strong leadership, client-facing skills, and ability to deliver complex projects on time are essential.

Qualifications

• 07+ years of hands-on experience in product development and customization across web and mobile life cycle.
• Proficient in Java 21 and frameworks like Spring Boot, Quarkus.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as Django or FastAPI; Agentic AI advantageous.
• Experience with non-structured (Mongo, Scylla, Datastore) and structured DBs (Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle).
• Working knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
• Knowledge of code quality tools like SonarQube.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong leadership and ability to guide a team of Java developers.
• Experience in client-facing roles and managing customer expectations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; self-management skills.
• Understanding of web development phases and project scope definition.

Must Have

• 07+ years of hands-on experience in Product Development and Product Customization in all facets of the web and mobile application development life cycle, from requirement analysis, architecture, design, code, UAT and post-implementation revisions.
• Worked on latest Java version Java 21,25 Framework- Spring Boot, Quarkus
• Have experience of AI/ML based solution with framework like Django, Fast API etc. Agentic AI will be an advantage
• Application development experience using Non-Structured (Mongo, Scylla, Datastore) and Structured databases (Postgres, My-SQL, MS SQL server, Oracle)
• Have working experience on Kafka, Rabbit-MQ etc
• Must have the working knowledge of Code Quality using tool like Sonar etc.
• Working knowledge of CICD pipelines.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Java developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize strong Core Java knowledge and expertise to review and guide the team in writing high-quality, efficient, and scalable Java code.
• Scope Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals.
• Experience with client-facing roles and managing customer expectations is a plus.
• Ability to work in multiple projects/Products simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven track record of delivering complex Java projects on time and within budget.
