Tenarai in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Software Developer to drive new features, rewrite parts of the system, and raise overall quality and stability while handling regular maintenance tasks.

The role demands hands-on Java/J2EE expertise, strong architecture perspective, and collaboration with tech leads in a hybrid work setup (Whitefield, Bangalore).

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 years of experience in Java/J2EE (Java 8+).
• Strong foundation in software architecture and design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and branching/merging in teams.
• Proficient with relational DBs (Oracle/MySQL) and NoSQL (Mongo).
• Knowledge of XML, Apache Camel and Tomcat.
• Hands-on with JUnit4+ and Mockito for TDD.
• Experience with SOAP and REST services.
• OO programming and cloud (AWS) familiarity.

Looking for a Senior Software Developer, who will support development of new feature/functions including rewriting small parts of the system, improving system quality/stability to regular maintenance tasks. Applies advanced skills and concepts to oversee large, complex projects.

Job Location: Whitefield, Bangalore (Hybrid: 3 days from office)

Should be ready to attend one round of Personal interview after initial virtuais rounds.

Job Requirement:

• 6 to 12 years of experience in Java/J2EE(Java 8+)
• Software Architecture and Design
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Branching & Merging in Team
• Collaborates with technical leaders/architects/developers
• Complete Understanding of relational databases and noSQL databases. Relational DB (Oracle, MySQL) and no sql (Mongo)
• Experience in XML, Apache Camel and Tomcat
• Do in-depth vast systems diagnostics and thorough root cause analysis
• Needs to adopt to new technology, practices and master the same
• Develops utilities/tools and automate data/result processing and analysis
• Experience with profilers, debuggers, Logging Framework (log4Net)
• Have knowledge/experience on Test driven development (TDD) – Junit4+, Mockitos
• Hands on Experience on Soap based and Restful services
• Strong knowledge on Object Oriented Paradigms
• Experience in Working with Cloud – AWS preferred
