Job summary

Kumaran Systems in Chennai seeks a Technical Lead & Senior Developer to drive design and implementation of enterprise software, shaping architecture and mentoring engineers. You will guide REST APIs, data and security considerations, and help deliver scalable, secure applications.

Collaborating with PMs, architects, QA, and DevOps, you will advance cloud-native, event-driven systems, implement standards, and evolve platforms through hands-on leadership and technical reviews.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of software development experience.
• 5+ years in Technical Lead, Senior Developer, or equivalent technical leadership roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot and React.js/TypeScript.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience leading a team of developers and conducting technical/code reviews.
• Experience with API and integration architecture.
• Experience with cloud-native/containerized applications.
• Experience handling performance, scalability, security, and production issues.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Technical Lead & Senior Developer

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and implementation of enterprise software solutions.
• Define application, integration, data, security, and deployment architecture.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical designs.
• Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Define coding, design, API, security, testing, and development standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Lead development of reusable components, frameworks, and shared services.
