• Strong Java development experience with deep understanding of multithreading, collections, concurrency, and performance optimisation.

• Proven hands-on Hibernate expertise, including design, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and real-world implementation.
• Ability to independently analyse, maintain and enhance existing legacy applications and codebases.
• Extensive experience working on large, business-critical enterprise applications.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across complex distributed systems.
• Experience onboarding into existing applications and becoming productive with minimal ramp-up time.
• Hands-on experience with application deployment processes and environment management; familiarity with access management, operational processes, and production support activities.
• Ability to understand and navigate legacy code and architecture without extensive documentation.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering in mature environments where understanding the existing estate is as important as developing new functionality.
