Job summary

Wissen Technology in Pune seeks a senior Java backend developer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade services using Java 8+, Spring Boot, Hibernate and REST APIs. 5+ years of experience with at least 2 in a lead role is expected.

You will mentor juniors, perform code reviews, and drive CI/CD pipelines with Maven/Gradle, Git, and Jenkins in an Agile/Scrum environment. Strong DB skills (SQL, MS SQL/MySQL) and a solid grasp of microservices, security and performance are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise Java development with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8+ and Spring ecosystem.
• Experience with RESTful services, SQL databases, and ORM (Hibernate/JPA).
• Hands-on with Microservices and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns and coding best practices.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting and production support.
