Job summary

Mobileware Technologies is seeking a seasoned Java backend developer to contribute across all SDLC phases. You will build scalable backend services, develop UPI integration APIs, and ensure code quality and performance while adhering to security and regulatory standards.

The role requires 6-8 years in Java backend development, strong Java EE knowledge, and experience with Spring/Spring Boot. You will engage in architecture discussions, testing, and documentation to support reliable real-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science / IT / Electronics or equivalent.
• 6-8 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in: Core Java, Collections Framework.
• OOPs concepts and design patterns.
• Java EE (JSP, Servlets).
• Spring / Spring Boot (preferred) or Struts.
• RESTful APIs / Web Services (SOAP & REST).
• XML and JSON processing.
• MySQL / PostgreSQL
• ORM frameworks like Hibernate / JPA.
• Apache Tomcat.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Develop APIs for UPI integrations (PSP, TPAP, bank integrations, NPCI switch connectivity).
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Ensure applications comply with UPI/NPCI guidelines, security, and regulatory standards.
• Work on real-time transaction processing systems with strong focus on reliability and latency.
• Prepare and manage releases of software components.
• Convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support continuous improvement through research of new technologies and tools.
• Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews.
• Maintain test environments and implement unit/integration testing.
• Identify system bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
