Job summary

86400 (An Initiative By Mobileware Technologies) seeks a senior Java backend developer to contribute across all phases of the SDLC and to build scalable backend services. You will design robust APIs, ensure reliability, and drive quality through unit tests and code reviews.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in Java backend development, strong knowledge of core Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services, and hands-on experience with UPI integrations and NPCI guidelines for real-time transaction systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science / IT / Electronics or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, Collections Framework.
• Experience with Java EE (JSP, Servlets).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot or Struts.
• RESTful APIs / Web Services (SOAP & REST).
• XML and JSON processing.
• MySQL / PostgreSQL databases.
• Hibernate / JPA ORM frameworks.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat.
• Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency for UPI systems.
• JUnit unit testing experience.
• UPI / Payments domain expertise with PSP/TPAP/banks.
