Job summary

Intellicredence is seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and Apache Kafka to design, build and support backend features end-to-end and assist deployments across SIT and UAT environments.

You will design scalable services, RESTful APIs, and work with SQL/NoSQL databases, while debugging, setting up local environments, and collaborating with Tech Leads, QA and DevOps to ensure smooth releases.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling, and Java 8 or later.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices.
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, offsets, and error handling.
• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Ability to independently set up, run, and troubleshoot applications in a local development environment.
• Strong debugging, log analysis, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of application deployment processes and SIT/UAT environments.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Ability to understand technical documentation, flowcharts, and existing application logic and translate them into working code.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of development tasks and deliver with limited day-to-day guidance.

Responsibilities
