Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a seasoned backend developer in Mumbai to design, build, test, and maintain scalable Java/Spring Boot applications. You will work on microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems using Kafka, with AWS deployment and database design for SQL/NoSQL.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, collections, exception handling, multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architectures.
• Kafka experience with producers, consumers, topics, partitions, event-driven systems.
• Experience with AWS services for deploying or managing applications.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization and data modelling.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with Maven/Gradle and Git for build and version control.
