Qualifications

• Experience with Apache Kafka / Confluent and REST APIs.
• SQL/ORM with Spring Data JPA/JDBC; performance tuning.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience; AWS basics.

Responsibilities

• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• Java: Professional backend development experience in Java 17+
• Spring Ecosystem Mastery: Deep experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security/OAuth2, Spring Data, and Spring Kafka
• Event Streaming: Proven experience building event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka / Confluent
• API Design: Strong REST API design capabilities, with a preference for contract-first design using OpenAPI
• Databases & ORM: Solid experience with relational databases (Oracle or similar) using Spring Data JPA / JDBC alongside SQL and ORM performance tuning
