About Position

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and cloud services, particularly AWS. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot database-related application issues and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications using Java 17.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using JAX-RS (Jersey).
• Work with microservices architecture and Spring Boot framework.
• Utilize AWS services such as SQS and S3 for application deployment and management.
• Conduct unit testing and utilize mocking frameworks like TestNG and Mockito.
• Collaborate with database teams to optimize SQL queries and manage database schemas.
• Participate in data migration projects as needed.
• Utilize Git for version control and follow CI/CD practices for application deployment.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development using Jersey.
• Experience with microservices architecture and Spring Boot 2.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (SQS, S3).
• Strong knowledge of Basic SQL and relational database concepts.
• Hands-on experience with My SQL or any other RDBMS.
• Experience with Amazon Aurora / Aurora MySQL-Compatible Edition.
• Experience with JDBC and JPA.
• Strong analytical skill and debugging skills.
• Experience with Git and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) development practices.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in Data Migration projects.
• Familiarity with database optimization techniques, including indexes and query optimization.
• Understanding of transactions and Stored Procedure.
