About Position

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and microservices architecture. This role requires hands‑on experience in building highly scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems while working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and support microservices-based solutions following modern architecture principles.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend integration services.
• Implement event-driven architectures and messaging solutions using Kafka.
• Design and optimize application components for scalability, reliability, and high availability.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in application architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and software engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, application defects, and production incidents.
• Develop and execute unit testing and support integration testing activities.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployment automation initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and implementation guidelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions.

Expertise You'll Bring

• 4-8 years of hands‑on experience in Java Backend Development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, Java EE technologies, and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Solid understanding of UML, Domain-Driven Design, and design patterns.
• Extensive experience developing microservices using Spring Boot.
• Strong hands‑on experience in RESTful web services and API development.
• Experience implementing event-driven solutions using Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, and backend application design.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience using Git for source code management and version control.
• Knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, testing practices, and release management processes.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Oracle NoSQL is an added advantage.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) principles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and distributed teams.
