Job summary

DHL IT Services, part of DHL Supply Chain, is seeking a Senior IT Solutions Consultant to translate business needs into practical technology solutions. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to design, test, and implement improvements across products and processes.

You will drive automation, security, and data privacy initiatives, support change readiness, and guide teams through complex solution designs with measurable impact on efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in consulting, business analysis, requirements management, or technology solution delivery.
• Ability to analyse complex business and technical requirements and propose practical solutions.
• Knowledge of IT trends, security, data privacy, test automation, and AI-related engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business, functional, technical, user, and process requirements and translate them into effective solution recommendations.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to clarify requirements and support solution design and implementation.
• Review product roadmaps, backlogs, and upcoming feature releases, highlighting risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve products and processes aligned with business priorities.
• Provide specialist guidance across test automation, security, data privacy, change readiness, and service improvement.
• Support delivery teams with requirement definition, impact analysis, and implementation readiness.
• Coordinate across teams to resolve design conflicts and align resources for delivery.
• Assist in change management, stakeholder engagement, knowledge transfer, and transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Prepare and present clear recommendations, business cases, and decision-support materials.
• Promote knowledge sharing and mentor colleagues in the consultant/specialist area.
• Explore AI opportunities across testing, documentation, support operations, and knowledge management.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business, functional, technical, user, and process requirements and translate them into effective solution recommendations.
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve dependencies, and support solution design and implementation.
• Review product roadmaps, backlogs, and upcoming feature releases, highlighting open questions, risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
• Identify product and process improvement opportunities aligned with business priorities.
• Provide specialist advice across areas such as test automation, security, data privacy, change readiness, and service improvement.
• Support delivery teams with requirement definition, solution options, impact analysis, complexity assessment, and implementation readiness.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts and coordinate technical resources across teams where required.
• Support change implementation, stakeholder engagement, knowledge transfer, and transition into business-as-usual operations.
• Prepare and deliver clear presentations, recommendations, business cases, and decision-support materials.
• Promote knowledge sharing and provide guidance to colleagues within the consultantspecialist area.
• Automation, testing, and AI-driven improvements (Good to have).
• The consultant will also be expected to identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing and operational activities.
• Support the automation of test cases and regression-testing scenarios.
• Design or implement AI-assisted test-data-generation use cases with appropriate controls and validation.
• Explore AI opportunities across testing, documentation, support operations, knowledge management, and root-cause analysis.
• Define measurable productivity or quality improvements for AI and automation use cases.
• Identify opportunities to scale successful AI or automation use cases across products, teams, or domains.
• Ensure AI-generated outputs and automated test results are appropriately reviewed and validated before implementation.

Requirements

• Strong experience in consulting, business analysis, requirements management, or technology solution delivery.
• Ability to analyse complex business and technical requirements and recommend practical solution options.
• Strong understanding of business processes, system integration, solution design, testing, change management, and implementation.
• Experience working with global, cross-functional, and remote teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business colleagues, technical teams, architects, project managers, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently, identify opportunities, and drive recommendations.
• Knowledge of current IT trends and evolving technologies.
• Exposure to test automation, generative AI, agentic AI, or AI-assisted engineering practices would be an advantage.
