Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• 4+ years of interior design experience, with exposure to workplace projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead workplace design concepts from early test fits to detailed design development.
• Translate business goals and culture into spatial strategies and design narratives.
• Develop concept presentations with storyboards, material intent, and 3D visuals.
• Create workplace planning proposals responding to spatial constraints and operations requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Leads to resolve design and buildability challenges while preserving design intent.
• Review and develop design drawings with construction understanding.
• Specify materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes aligned with budget.
• Collaborate with vendors/consultants and internal costing team to assess feasibility and cost impact.
• Participate in client presentations, design reviews, and internal critique sessions.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to raising design quality.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and contribute to workplace design concepts, from early test fits and space planning to detailed design development.
• Translate business goals, organizational culture, and user needs into clear spatial strategies and design narratives.
• Develop strong concept presentations including storyboards, material intent, spatial zoning, and 3D visualizations.
• Create workplace planning proposals that respond intelligently to spatial constraints, adjacencies, and operational requirements.
• Work closely with Project Leads to resolve design, technical, and buildability challenges while maintaining design intent.
• Develop and review design development and detailing drawings, with a clear understanding of how spaces are constructed.
• Convert concepts into material, furniture, lighting, and finish specifications aligned with budget and performance goals.
• Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and the internal costing team to assess feasibility, cost impact, and execution strategy.
• Participate in client presentations, design reviews, and internal critique sessions with confidence and clarity.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to raising the overall design quality and thinking within the studio.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of professional experience in interior design, with strong exposure to workplace projects
• A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (additional tools are a plus)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a deadline-driven environment
• Professional maturity to engage with senior leadership, clients, and consultants
• People skills: managing expectations, navigating personalities, and building trust-based working relationships
