Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on‑site role based in Nagpur, responsible for leading interior design projects from initial concept through final execution. This role involves developing design concepts, space plans, mood boards and 3d drawings; preparing detailed construction drawings; and selecting materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) aligned with client requirements and project budgets. The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate closely with architects, site supervisors, vendors, and clients, conducting site visits, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring design intent is maintained during execution. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include client presentations, design revisions, quality checks on‑site, and support in project management activities such as timelines, cost estimates, and resource coordination. The role also includes mentoring junior team members and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and standards within the studio.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design expertise, including concept development, detailing, and execution oversight.


• Proficiency in Space Planning to create functional, efficient, and aesthetic layouts for residential and commercial projects.


• Knowledge of Architecture and ability to collaborate on structural, elevation, and design integration aspects.


• Experience preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, working drawings, and technical documentation.


• Capability in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, materials, and finishes that align with project budgets and design goals.


• Advanced skills in design software (\"e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D visualization tools\") and Microsoft Office or similar tools.


• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with prior experience in senior or lead design roles.
