Role Description

The Junior Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gorakhpur. The Junior Interior Designer will support senior designers in developing interior concepts, preparing mood boards, and assisting with material and finishes selection. Daily responsibilities include producing and updating drawings, supporting space planning, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and assisting in site visits and measurements. The role involves contributing to FF&E selections, maintaining project documentation, and collaborating with the team to ensure design intent is accurately implemented. The Junior Interior Designer is expected to participate in client presentations, respond to design feedback, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and within quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to assist in developing design concepts and layouts.
• Proficiency in Space Planning and Construction Drawings to support functional, detailed, and buildable design solutions.
• Experience or training in FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, including finishes, materials, and product sourcing.
• Working knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic proficiency in MS Office.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong visual, spatial, and conceptual thinking skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in an on-site team environment in Gorakhpur.
• Ability to manage time, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to evolving project requirements; prior internship or project experience is an advantage.
