Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design process from concept to completion, including client briefings, space planning, material and finish selection, and oversight of detailed drawings and specifications. This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained during execution and project timelines are met. Daily responsibilities include developing design presentations, preparing and reviewing construction drawings, managing FF&E selections and budgets, and guiding junior designers with feedback and mentorship. The Senior Interior Designer will also participate in site visits, quality checks, and client meetings to resolve design challenges and support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Interior Design and FF&E, including concept development, material selection, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment coordination.
• Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals to create functional, safe, and visually cohesive layouts.
• Hands-on experience with Construction Drawings, detailing, and documentation for execution on site.
• Advanced skills in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation software.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in leading interior design projects from concept through completion.
• Strong project management, time management, and coordination skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Effective communication and client-facing skills, including the ability to present and justify design decisions.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and readiness to work on-site in Hyderabad as part of a collaborative team.
