Lets Cohabit8 is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead design and delivery of premium living spaces, beginning with high-end PGs and co-living projects, expanding to luxury residential, hospitality and mixed-use developments.

The role requires exceptional taste, global exposure and the ability to translate contemporary international standards into commercially viable spaces for a startup-focused company operating with international prospects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in premium residential, hospitality, luxury commercial or high-end real estate interior design.
• Outstanding portfolio showcasing design sensibility and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of international design trends, luxury interiors and global aesthetics.
• Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and space planning.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to design within budgets while maintaining premium look.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end interior design process from concept development through to execution.
• Design premium PGs, co-living, residential and commercial spaces delivering a luxury customer experience.
• Develop concepts, mood boards, layouts, material palettes, FF&E selections and styling aligned with premium branding.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure design quality and timelines.
• Source high-quality materials, furnishings and finishes at competitive prices.
• Prepare BOQs, review quotations, negotiate with vendors and drive cost optimisation across projects.
• Establish design standards and scalable material libraries across developments.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative, commercially astute, and execution-focused SeniorInteriorDesignerto lead the design and delivery of premium living spaces across our portfolio. While the initial focus will be on designing high-quality PGs and co-living spaces, this role will evolve to support luxury residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use developments as the business expands.

As a UK-based company with international aspirations, we are looking for someone with exceptional design taste, global exposure and the ability to create sophisticated spaces that reflect contemporary international standards while remaining commercially viable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-endinteriordesign process from concept development through to execution.
• Design premium PGs, co-living, residential and commercial spaces that deliver a luxury customer experience.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, layouts, material palettes, FF&E selections and styling that align with the company's premium brand positioning.
• Create spaces that balance aesthetics, functionality, durability and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate closely with architects, contractors, consultants and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure design quality and adherence to timelines.
• Build and manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and contractors.
• Source high-quality materials, furniture and finishes at the most competitive prices without compromising on design quality.
• Identify innovative products and cost-effective alternatives that maximise value for the business.
• Prepare BOQs, review quotations, negotiate with vendors and actively drive cost optimisation across projects.
• Establish design standards and material libraries that can be scaled across multiple developments.
• Contribute to future projects across hospitality, luxury residential, commercial real estate and other businesses within the Group.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's and/ or master's degree ininteriordesign, Architecture or a related field.
• 7+ years of experiencein premium residential, hospitality, luxury commercial or high-end real estateinteriordesign. Relevant entrepreneurialexperience may also be considered.
• An outstanding portfolio showcasing exceptional design sensibility and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of international design trends, luxuryinteriors, and contemporary global aesthetics, particularly those suited to the UK and European markets.
• Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and space planning.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to design within budgets while maintaining a premium look and feel.
• Proven experience sourcing materials, furnishings and finishes from reliable suppliers at the most competitive commercial rates.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills with a well-established supplier network being an advantage.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environment where priorities evolve quickly.
• Highly driven, proactive, resourceful, and capable of taking complete ownership of projects.
• Experience working with reputed corporate organisations, leading design studios, luxury hospitality brands, or premium real estate developers will be preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape/Lumion or equivalent design software. Needs to be able to prepare CGIs
