Job summary

DesignCafe in Chennai, Tamil Nadu seeks an experienced Interior Designer for residential projects. You will develop sketches, floor plans and 3D concepts using AutoCAD and SketchUp, presenting ideas to clients with clarity.

Applicants should hold a Diploma in Interior Designing or B.Arch, with 3+ years in residential interiors, strong design sense, and excellent English communication. Independent project handling is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in residential interior projects.
• Modular interior experience is must.
• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Experience handling clients and managing projects independently.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Google SketchUp.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Role & responsibilities

• Assesses and meets client requirements and desires through regular meetings and conferences
• Produces sketches, drawings, and floor plans to illustrate concepts and finished projects using computer-aided design programs (CAD) and hand-drawing skills
• Creates idea boards to communicate design concepts to clients
• Strong understanding and demonstrated aptitude of design principles
• Excellent portfolio of previous works
• Creative talent, imagination, and eye for design.

Requirements :

• You must have min 3 plus years of experience in residential projects
• Modular Interior experience is must
• Registered Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Experience in handling clients and handling projects independently
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Google Sketch-up
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, ability to convey complex ideas effectively and efficiently.
