Job summary

Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for leading design projects from concept to completion, including client consultations, design presentations, and on-site coordination. Day-to-day tasks include developing detailed interior concepts, preparing drawings and mood boards, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E packages in line with project requirements and budget. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design integrity, quality execution, and timely delivery of projects. The Senior Interior Designer will mentor junior designers, oversee documentation, and maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to develop functional, aesthetic layouts for residential and commercial spaces.
• Solid understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and ensure technical accuracy.
• Proficiency in FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection and specification, including materials, finishes, and vendors.
• Advanced skills in design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with industry standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with substantial experience in leading interior design projects.
• Strong project management, time management, and coordination skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in high-end residential and commercial interiors and knowledge of current design trends, materials, and best practices.
