Job summary

SYSTRA in Mumbai, India, seeks Sr. Integration expert / Sr. Power supply expert Environmental Expert with a deep background in railways and urban transit to lead end-to-end system integration for metro projects.

You will coordinate with design, procurement and construction teams, oversee testing, and ensure interfaces meet safety and client requirements, guiding O&M training and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical Engineering.
• 20+ years in railways or railway related industry.
• 5+ years in urban rail based passenger carrying system.

Responsibilities

• System Integration Planning: develop strategies for end-to-end metro system integration (signaling, rolling stock, power, comms, PS doors, SCADA).
• Interface Management: document and manage interfaces between subsystems.
• Coordination: liaise with design, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
• Testing & Commissioning: plan and supervise system integration tests and site acceptance tests.
• Issue Resolution: lead troubleshooting of integration issues before and after commissioning.
• Requirements Validation: ensure interfaces meet technical specs, client requirements and safety standards.
• Documentation: review and prepare integration plans, test scripts and reports.
• Training: support O&M teams on integrated system operations and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: propose improvements for efficient integration.
• Compliance: ensure activities comply with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Currently, we are bidding for Metro Rail projects across India. The position of Sr. Integration expert/ Sr. Power supply expert Environmental Expert is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

• System Integration Planning: Develop and implement strategies for end-to-end integration of various metro systems such as signaling, rolling stock, power supply, communications, platform screen doors, and SCADA.
• Interface Management: Identify, document, and manage technical and functional interfaces between different sub-systems to ensure seamless operation.
• Coordination: Liaise with design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams for coordinated project execution and system handover.
• Testing & Commissioning: Plan, supervise, and participate in system integration testing, site acceptance tests, and final system commissioning to validate end-to-end functionality.
• Issue Resolution: Lead troubleshooting and resolution of integration-related technical issues before and after commissioning.
• Requirements Validation: Ensure all system interfaces conform to technical specifications, client requirements, and safety standards.
• Documentation: Review and prepare integration plans, test scripts, protocols, and reports for submission to project stakeholders.
• Training: Support the training of O&M teams on integrated system operations and emergency procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements and innovative solutions for efficient system integration.
• Compliance: Ensure all integration activities comply with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Profile/Skills
